Here are the electrics. I ran an extension from the 110 volt/15 amp overhead light circuit to power a GFCI outlet so I could plug in the remote, and also turn off the remote when the garage lights are off to prevent random starts from the RF remote.

The door is shop-made. It is a sandwich of 3/4 inch birch ply, 1x4 pine, and 1/4 inch lauan on the inside, with ROXUL rock wool filling the void. I had to slice the ROXUL and compress it to fit since it comes in 3.5 inch batts. The door is heavy!

This is a detail of the mounting. I replaced the 1/4 inch threaded rod that comes with the cyclone with 5/16 and bought some dampers from McMaster-Carr for a hanging installation.

The cleanout is just a box of MDF patterned after the Clearvue instruction. I added the gasket that the instructions said to remove from one of the Wynn filters to seal it to the filters. It is sitting on a plywood stand to raise it to a compression fit.

All done except for the final mudding, painting, and trim. The cyclone exhausts at the top on the left side and the exhaust runs down between the closet and the garage wall, then up between the back of the closet and garage wall to exit at the ceiling.

Here it is in its natural habitat. When it is operating most of the noise is from air moving through the ducts. I haven't made decibel readings but it is quiet enough to carry on a conversation with someone next you without shouting.
